BC Yarn was founded in 1972 as a family company. BC stands for Bo Carstensen, who runs the company together with his wife Marianna. Bo’s mom was a weaver and when she could not find the yarns and colors on the market needed for her work, she began to develop and produce her own yarn. Today, BC Garn manufactures a wide range of hand and machine knit yarns which are always made of high quality raw materials and most of them according to Oeko Tex or GOTS guidelines.
